Announcement!
There are exciting things going on here at 4R Aussies! Before we got our first Aussies and fell in love with the breed, our very first pet was a Maltese, followed by another Maltese. Since then we have always had a love and place in our hearts and family for Maltese, as well as our Aussies. We started our breeding program with Aussies, but here we are a few years down the road and we have decided to add to our breeding program. We wanted to add Maltese, and Maltese crosses to our program so that we can help people looking for the perfect small hypoallergenic lapdog to add to their family. With this expansion we are updating our name from 4R Aussies to 4R Aussies & Tiny Paws. We plan to have full blood AKC Maltese, F1B & F1BB Morkies, & F1B Maltipoos. In our love for Aussies & Maltese we also decided to do a cross between an Aussiedoodle & a Maltese, and we are calling them Maussiedoodles. We are really excited about this cross to combine the smaller babydoll faced Korean bloodline Maltese with the personality, intelligence, and colors/markings of the Aussies and Poodles. With the poodle and Maltese both being in the bloodline, it should also make for a hypoallergenic option, but still with those lovable Aussie qualities too. Our first “Tiny Paw” litters have officially arrived in 2023, and we are so excited to announce their arrival and share them with you all!
About Us
4R Aussies is owned and operated by Trey and Chelsi Rateliff. Our family includes our two children, a herd of miniature cattle, and our Aussie clan. We were born and raised in the Southern Oklahoma area and are now raising our children in the same town and school where we grew up. Our days are occupied by our professional careers, but most of our enjoyment comes from outside of those times which is spent with our children, family, friends, and our animals.
We have spent our entire lives around various animals with most of that time being dogs. We purchased our first Aussie in 2012 and have owned one ever since that time. All our dogs are pets and have been raised in our home. They receive constant attention (even though they seem to always act like they are starved for it) and are played with daily. They are ASDR registered, taken to regularly scheduled vet appointments, house broken, crate and doggie door trained.
We currently have two toy females and one toy male in our breeding program and one miniature Aussie that is not in our breeding program but is our “original” Aussie. Our two breeding toy females are both black tris. They are unique in that they are both red factored, so it is possible for them to have one of every Aussie color, which happened with one of their first litters! The females are very outgoing, playful and love attention. Our male is a blue merle with one blue eye. He is very loving, however also very laid back. He is the type to come to you when he wants attention and just lay around watching everything happen the rest of the time.
